#OFF THE GRID
A couple of weeks ago, I was able to get away from everything and head to the middle of nowhere in upstate, NY. The cabin we stayed in is pretty much off the grid. It's always great to get away from the everyday routine, but also really invigorating to get to be in such a secluded spot, out in nature. "Adopt the pace of nature: her secret is patience." -Ralph Waldo Emerson
I need to be reminded sometimes to slow down. To enjoy the process. To just be.
We also spent a day in the town of Woodstock. It's long been known as an arts colony and a spiritual and inspirational center for artists, and musicians. The town still has its artistic and freethinking spirit and its a lot of fun to walk around and explore the shops on a nice day.
